Where it all began…

Viki and Tomi first met on the steps of the Basilica, and five years later, they walked up those very same steps to enter this beautiful building and say their "I do’s." On this August day, the weather showed us all its moods, but the magic of Budapest made every moment unforgettable.

​

We set off in the rain and then hopped on the Hop-on Hop-off bus, which took us to the civil ceremony and dinner venue while allowing us to enjoy a bit of sightseeing along the way. Budapest’s breathtaking landmarks unfolded before us: the shimmering waters of the Danube, the iconic arches of the Chain Bridge, and the city’s unparalleled panorama made this day even more special.

The civil ceremony took place on the terrace of Robinson Restaurant, bathed in the golden light of the setting sun, with Zoltán Belenyi ensuring a truly personal and heartfelt atmosphere.

Before dinner, we snuck away for a quick photo session at Heroes’ Square, one of Budapest’s most iconic locations, and then all that was left was carefree celebration. The sound of the pouring rain that lasted all night competed with the beats of DJ Gál Tomi, but nothing could break the magic of the evening.

​

Budapest is simply the perfect place for a wedding – its historic buildings, romantic riverside, and vibrant atmosphere make every moment special. I wish for many more weddings like this because I absolutely loved the mood and style that Viki and Tomi’s big day represented! Thank you for letting me capture these unforgettable moments for you!
